The universal supercharger system has dual inlet options. First is the standard driver side inlet that ducts the air to one side. With this, you have the option of a stock throttle body or our billet Roval 132mm throttle body which is available in electronic and mechanical cable versions. Second is the front center inlet which allows the vehicle builder to duct the air in any direction. With this setup, you can run a stock throttle body, aftermarket 90 and 102mm (GM based) or a Whipple 109mm in electronic or mechanical cable versions.
The Whipple competition supercharger system gives car builders, engine shops, engine builders and do-it-yourselfers the ability to custom build there application. The base kits come with the basic componets such as the supercharger, inlet, manifold with intercooler core, fuel rails and nesessary fasteners. Builders can add injectors, intercooler pumps, heat exchangers or build there own componets and use aftermarket controllers for calibration.

With years of OEM and racing experience, Whipple engineers have developed a unique PCM calibration that reconfigures all the necessary engine functions including fuel, spark, knock detection, variable cam timing, multiple RPM limits, torque management and electronic throttle control. The vehicles PCM constantly monitors the engines torque output while monitoring many different parameters to keep the engine in it’s ideal parameters. If a parameter falls below specification, the PCM will lower boost and torque output until the problem can be cured. | With the ever increasing demand for power, Whipple now offers one of the highest quality and highest flowing (1630cfm) fly-by-wire dual blade 68mm throttle body available today. The twin 68mm is a great in between throttle body for daily drivers. It significantly outflows the competitions dual 65mm (1517cfm) and stock GT500 throttle bodies (1130cfm) while still having excellent idle and drive-ability manners. This is a great upgrade for supercharged Ford Raptors, F150's, 11-14 Mustangs and GT500's. Performance gains of nearly 100hp can be achieved on the Shelby GT500 (varies with boost and pulley size) as the stock unit is far too small. Factory electric motors and TPS sensors bolt directly to unit for simple adaptation and each throttle body is pre-flowed and set for repeatable idle settings. These throttle bodies may require special/custom tuning. | This 50 state legal supercharger system pushes your Mustang to new levels of power. This stage 2 supercharger kit boasts a 65-70% increase in horsepower over the stock output. To put that into perspective, this kit could take your stock 460 hp Mustang GT to a potent +780 hp that will have your S550 gapping cars at the track.
The centrifugal difference. Centrifugal superchargers mount via a bracket that is connected to the engine. The supercharger is then driven by a belt connected to your engine. This method of mounting results in cooler temperatures and denser air, as the supercharger is not absorbing the heat from your engine like a Roots or TVS supercharger. Cooler operating temperatures and reduced heat mean that you have more consistent performance, pull after pull, without heat soak.
Bigger and better. The stage 2 system includes a larger intercooler and larger belt to achieve even greater horsepower numbers. The massive 1,103 sq in. core on the stage 2 intercooler is 75% larger than the high output intercooler. With an increased 8.5 psi maximum boost, the kit achieves 65-70% increases in power over stock on pump gas. The larger 8-rib belt drive system increases the amount of power transferred, helping your supercharger take your Mustang further.
